Your paper inspection checklists, tallied and watched by AI agents.
Print the free checklist: daily equipment, forklift, 5S or quality. Check it off by hand as always, snap a photo, and your agent tallies failures by shift and machine and alerts you when one spikes. Includes a defect check sheet for quality. 30 days of everything, then free.
Free printable inspection checklist and defect check sheet.
Two US Letter templates. The daily equipment inspection checklist: the items to check before running a forklift, machine or piece of equipment, with OK, needs attention or N/A, and safe-to-operate sign-off. The defect check sheet: one row per defect and a tally mark per part, Monday to Saturday, with totals.

From paper to your plant memory in a minute.
1 · Checked off by hand
A check per item or a tally mark per defect, the way your operators already do it.
2 · Snap it at end of shift
The agent reads every check, counts the tally marks and reads the comments, flagging anything unclear.
3 · The count is done
Failures by item, shift and machine, and defects by type, without keying anything into a spreadsheet.
Inspection checklist, check sheet and what the agent does with each.
An inspection checklist confirms every item was checked — typically before using equipment. A check sheet, one of the seven basic quality tools, counts how often something happens, like each type of defect. Both are filled in by hand on the floor.
| What it's for | What your agent does with it | |
|---|---|---|
| Daily equipment inspection checklist | Pre-use / pre-shift check of equipment | Spots items that fail often and units tagged out |
| Defect check sheet | Counting defects by type and day | Totals the tally marks and gives you the Pareto, no typing |
| Equipment, unit # and operator | Who checked which unit | Tracks each unit's history and who inspected it |
| Parts inspected | The base for a defect rate | Gives you the defect rate, not just the count |
| Comments / cause and action | What was found and done | Finds causes that repeat even when written differently |
Your defect Pareto and your equipment status, from the sheets you already use.
“Which forklift was tagged out this week?”
It reads the inspection checklists and tells you which units failed and on which item.
“Which defect repeats most by shift?”
It answers from your check sheets and cites which ones each number comes from.
Failures by item, defects by week
The dashboard agent builds the breakdown and trend, updated with every sheet.
“Alert me if a unit fails the brake check”
When the checklist is confirmed you're notified by email or Microsoft Teams, while there's still time to act.
Keep checking by hand. Stop counting by hand.

What people usually ask.
What should a daily equipment inspection checklist include?
Equipment and unit number, operator, date, shift and hour meter, then each item to check — fluids, leaks, tires, brakes, steering, horn, lights, forks or attachments, seat belt, guards, emergency stop, extinguisher — with OK, needs attention or N/A, and a safe-to-operate sign-off.
Is this an OSHA forklift checklist?
It covers the usual pre-use items, but it isn't an official form: adapt it to the inspections your regulations and equipment manufacturer require. The agent reads your version just the same.
What's the difference between a checklist and a check sheet?
A checklist confirms each item was checked (OK / not OK / N/A); a check sheet counts how many times something happens, like each type of defect. This page has both templates and the agent reads both.
Does it count tally marks?
Yes. It counts the marks and gives you the number. If a cell isn't clear, it's flagged in amber for you to confirm.
Can it build my Pareto chart?
Your dashboard shows the defect breakdown and you can ask “what are the three most frequent defects?”. If you want the chart in Excel, export the data.
Can I use my own checklist?
Yes. The first time, the agent builds the template from your photo. When you create your account, someone on the iLEAN team reviews it.
What does it cost?
The 30-day trial is free with no card; after that, 12 sheets a month free or plans from $39/mo with unlimited users. Prices exclude sales tax where applicable.
