What people ask about connecting the lab spreadsheet

Do we have to standardize the sheet?

No, and it is better not to. Asking the laboratory to change its sheet is the fast route to the system going unused. iLEAN reads the one that exists, in the format it has today, and keeps reading it when a new column for a new grade appears next quarter.

Is the thickness inspection sheet handled the same way?

Yes, and it is the part with the longest reach: thickness per measurement point becomes a corrosion curve, which is what the mechanical integrity program needs and nobody builds today. On an acetic acid circuit, that curve is the difference between a scheduled replacement and a leak.

Can licenses really be reduced?

It depends on your contract, which is why it is framed as an estimate to validate against last year's invoice. The logic is that anyone logging in purely to type stops needing to; the person who validates keeps their login, and the ERP keeps being the system of record.

Does it watch the folder or the person?
