Can it be switched off to go faster?

No, and that is not a limitation to work around: it is the architecture. Data crosses into the central system only after human confirmation, in every one of the twelve cases, and there is no administrator setting that changes that.

How long does it take the supervisor?

Seconds: the summary arrives with the tag, the activity and the captures already assembled, and is resolved with two taps on the tablet at the equipment. It is faster than the walk to the terminal it replaces, which is why the field accepts it.

Does it replace the work permit system?

No. Permits, isolations and confined-space entries keep their process, their forms and their authorities. The gate guarantees that what is captured about them — the photo of the closed permit, the dictated isolation check — enters the system with a name attached.

What gets recorded?

Which summary was shown, who confirmed it, when, on which tablet, and what they corrected if anything. That is exactly what an internal auditor or an incident investigation asks for, and today it has to be reconstructed from memory.

Do we deploy this first or last?
