The problem

The blocker is not cost. It is accountability.

In a seating plant the traceability master ties the part serial number to the vehicle, and it carries the legal responsibility for a safety component. Contaminating that master is simply unthinkable. That is why the blocker to digitalisation in an account like this is never cost. It is accountability. Nobody signs off a system that writes on its own into the master of a part that carries the seat belt anchorage. It is a legitimate objection. At the same time the operator cannot type either: every second at their station is balanced to the customer's takt. Any solution costing them twenty seconds per unit is dead before it starts.

Can the AI ever write into the master on its own?

No, and it is not configurable: it is the architecture. Data crosses into the manufacturing system only after a person confirms it on the tablet, and the record of that confirmation travels with the data.

How long does validation take at takt?

Two seconds to read the summary and two taps. The interface is designed for validation, not for data entry, because the station is balanced to the customer's takt and nobody has twenty seconds per seat.

What exactly gets recorded?

Which summary was shown, who confirmed it, when, and what they corrected. That is what serves when the customer asks who validated a safety part on a specific vehicle.

Does this cover the belt anchorage and airbag data as well?
