Three languages on the shift, one in the report — and HQ always reads it a day late.

An industrial subsidiary in the Maghreb runs in three registers at once: the crew speaks Darija among themselves, the engineer switches to French with the supervisors, and HQ in Tarragona or Valencia waits for the next day's report in its own language.
